Subject: Make a gift today and I'll double
it
Dear Friend,
I'm proud to have chaired the board of the most
comprehensive and thorough source for non-profit software reviews anywhere.
We're prepping for another big year in 2009. If you can help
out with a tax-deductible gift by Dec. 31, I'll double your impact by
matching it dollar for dollar.
As Idealware Board President for the past three years,
I'm thrilled to read this:
"Idealware is a valuable resource as I
evaluate what tools would be the most appropriate for us. It is great to find
such depth of information written in easy-to-understand language. I trust that
the folks at Idealware will present all the angles I need to consider in an
unbiased and honest way." - Rachel Crossot, United Cerebral Palsy
2008
was a big year for Idealware:
- We published 26 articles and 3 reports - all freely available - providing
candid information to help nonprofits choose software, including our landmark
Consumers Guide to Grants Management Software, for grantmakers
- Over 100 nonprofit tech professionals helped us write and peer review our
articles.
- 180,000 people viewed and downloaded information on the Idealware website.
- 500 people learned from our online seminars.
And we've done all
this on an annual budget of about $100,000!
So as I thank all of you
- our board members, our bloggers, our donors, our article contributors, and all
of you who read Idealware resources and passed them on - I'm asking you today to
make
a donation to support Idealware's work in 2009 and beyond.
The
best news of all is that the Idealware Board has authorized me to match all
gifts to Idealware - dollar for dollar - up to $1000 from now until December 31.
Please
make a gift--of any size--to help us meet this goal! We only have a few
short weeks to meet the deadline.
I want to thank you - our readers and
supporters - for having placed your trust in the work we produce, and for
spreading the word. Please consider a year-end
gift to Idealware (which the Board will double dollar for dollar up to
$1000) and help support our unbiased and trusted reporting.
Here's to
many more years to come.
